1. About this page
This page explains how to delete your account for DailyReportr+, the construction field-reporting app published by Lab Architect on the App Store, on Google Play as com.dailyreportplus.app, and on the web at app.dailyreportrplus.com.
There are two ways to delete your DailyReportr+ account: in the app, which is immediate, and by email, for anyone who can no longer sign in. Both are described below, followed by exactly what is deleted and what is kept.
2. Delete your account in the app
Deletion in the app is immediate and cannot be undone. The steps are the same on iPhone, iPad, Android, and the web app:
- Open DailyReportr+ and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Open Settings.
- Under the Security heading, tap Security.
- Scroll to the bottom of the Security screen, to the red Delete Account section, and tap Delete My Account.
- A Delete Account confirmation dialog appears. It lists what will be removed and, if you have an active subscription, warns you to cancel it first and offers a Manage Subscription button with the steps for your store.
- Type your account password into the Current password field, labelled “Required to authorize permanent deletion”. This is how we confirm the request is really yours.
- Tap the red Delete Account button.
Your account and data are deleted immediately, you are signed out on every device, and the app returns to the sign-in screen. There is no grace period and no way to restore the account afterwards.
3. Delete your account by email
Use this route if you have uninstalled the app, cannot sign in, or the in-app form will not accept your password. In particular:
If you created your account with Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple and have never set a password of your own, the in-app form cannot verify you. It will reject the request as an incorrect password, because there is no password stored on the account to check against. Email us instead and we will delete the account for you.
Send an email to support@dailyreportrplus.com with:
- The subject line Account deletion request
- The email address on the DailyReportr+ account you want deleted
- Whether you signed in with a password, with Google, with Apple, or with a sign-in link, if you remember
Send it from the email address on the account if you can. If you cannot, we will reply to the account address to confirm the request before deleting anything — we will not delete an account on the word of an address we cannot tie to it.
We acknowledge deletion requests within 30 days, and normally act on them within a few business days. Do not include your password in the email. We will never ask you for it.
4. What is deleted
Deleting your account removes your user record, and every record in our database that is linked to it is deleted with it, in the same operation:
- Your account record — email address, name, role, and the subscription customer identifier held against your account
- Your profile — profile details, company details, and your profile photo, company logo, and default signature
- Sign-in credentials — your password hash, any Google or Apple sign-in link, and any pending sign-in links
- Sessions — every active session on every device, so you are signed out everywhere
- Projects — your projects, including the addresses you entered and the map coordinates derived from them
- Daily reports, and the field notes, tasks, crew and labor records, equipment, materials, safety observations, and signatures they contain
- Crew payroll records — pay periods, rates, and the payroll reports generated from them
- Photos, signatures, and other uploaded files — both the file records in our database and the files themselves in our storage, and every file-sharing link you created, so outstanding links stop working
- Subscription records held on your account — your subscription state, the purchase and renewal events recorded against it, and the entitlement records mapping you to the stores and to our subscription provider
- Pending sync data — any queued offline changes not yet applied
Files are removed from storage first, before the database records are deleted. If a file cannot be removed, the deletion stops and nothing is deleted, so that we never lose the record of a file we are still holding. If that happens you will see an error, and you should contact us at support@dailyreportrplus.com.
5. What is kept, and why
Three kinds of record survive account deletion. None of them contains your project data, your photos, or your reports.
Security and billing logs, with your identity removed
These logs are kept for security investigation, fraud prevention, and financial record-keeping. When your account is deleted, the link from each entry back to you is severed — the user reference is emptied and the email address is cleared, and what remains cannot be traced to your account:
- Security event log — password changes, session revocations, and the record of the deletion itself
- Authentication event log — sign-in attempts, sign-in link issuance and use
- Feedback and support messages you sent us — kept so support conversations are not lost; the account link and the email address on them are both cleared
- Administrative action log — support actions taken on accounts
A deletion receipt
We keep one permanent record that a deletion happened: the date and time, whether it was requested by you or carried out by us, the number of files removed, the reason text, and a one-way cryptographic hash of the deleted account identifier. The hash is not reversible and cannot be turned back into your account, your email address, or your name. This record is what lets us prove a deletion request was honoured. It is retained indefinitely.
Records held by the app stores and payment providers
We cannot delete records held by the companies that took your payment. Deleting your DailyReportr+ account has no effect on them, and they keep purchase records under their own policies and their own legal obligations:
- Google Play — merchant of record for Android purchases; keeps your order and subscription history on your Google account
- Apple — merchant of record for iPhone and iPad purchases; keeps your purchase history on your Apple Account
- RevenueCat — our subscription-management provider; retains the subscriber and purchase history it holds for the account. Account deletion in DailyReportr+ does not itself erase that record. To have it removed as well, say so in an email to support@dailyreportrplus.com and we will request its deletion for you.
- Stripe — processor for web subscriptions; keeps transaction records required by financial regulation
6. Cancel your subscription first
Deleting your DailyReportr+ account does not cancel a store subscription, and does not stop it renewing. Only the store that billed you can cancel it. Cancel before you delete your account, or you may continue to be charged for a service you can no longer sign in to.
- Android — open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile icon, tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, select DailyReportr+, and cancel
- iPhone and iPad — open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, select DailyReportr+, and cancel
- Web — cancel through the billing account you subscribed with
Refunds are handled by the store that took the payment. We are not the merchant of record on either mobile platform and cannot issue a store refund on your behalf.
7. Timing
- In the app — immediate. Your data is deleted as part of the request; there is no queue, no grace period, and no recovery window.
- By email — within 30 days of us confirming the request, and normally within a few business days.
- The retained logs described in section 5 — kept after deletion, with your identity removed, for security and accounting purposes.
- The deletion receipt — retained indefinitely; contains only a non-reversible hash of the account identifier.
Encrypted backups of our database may retain deleted records until those backups age out of rotation. Backup copies are not used to restore deleted accounts.
